Vintage Mid-Century 14k yellow gold basket weave cage dome ring. It is set with 16 vibrant crystal fire opals with rainbow play of color. “Crystal opal” means that they are transparent that the play. Of color is like a fire inside. These are natural and polished, made by nature.  Size 6. Marked 14k. 

I bought this from the original owner and she had is custom made I think she said around 1970. The dome is 3/4” wide and the dome is 10mm tall. 

The stones are out standing. One has fan shaped chip that took off the top point. hard to find
